At this Seven Eleven location they had an on-going issue where customers had to ask for the key but very often, after using the washroom, the key was not returned to the counter but was left in odd locations in the store.

To solve the problem we have installed a new washroom function deadbolt so customers no longer have to ask for the key. At the same time if there is a need to lock the door if, for example, the washroom is out of order, the Seven Eleven employees are  able to lock the door from the outside so that it displays as if the washroom is being  used until the repairs are complete.
